Rabbits have a receptive personality and they adapt very well to human routine. Therefore, it is so sweet! However, for the rabbit to be happy and healthy, it needs some special care, such as hay, vegetables, a warm and comfortable nursery and time to run free.

Taking care of your magic rabbit: Nursery
First, you must provide a cage with the appropriate size for your pet. For example, for rabbits of approximately 3.6 kg, the cage should be 1.2 m wide and 0.6 m long at least.
Your rabbit should be comfortably lying down, and should also have space to play.
The grid of laterals must be designed for rabbits. The cage bottom should be solid as if it were a rabbit hole. Remember that the ideal is that it is out of the cage 8 to 12 hours a day, where it can run freely.
If you think about having the rabbit out of the house, then it is better to provide one second rabbit. They are social animals, and as such, loneliness makes them depressed.
Line the cage with hay or sawdust of some soft wood, like pine.
Once your furry friend needs to get out and have fun, leave the cage in a safe room for it and nothing it can spoil. Chemical products, wires, and plants should stay away from them unless you want to see them damaged!

Provide an unlimited supply of hay. They are fundamentally feed-hay. Give it also timothy, bromegrass, and oats.
Give the rabbit, alfalfa feed bowl or timothy, containing proteins and essential for growth fibers.
Offer many vegetables. However, the carrots should be offered only occasionally, since it has a high glucose content.
Vegetables like spinach, kale and turnips should be included in the diet.
You can also use fruits as snacks but give them very sporadically.
Some vegetables, such as corn, lettuce, tomato, cabbage, beans, peas, potatoes, beets, onions and rhubarb, are not good for rabbits. Also, avoid bamboo, grains, seeds and any kind of meat.
Do not forget to allow your rabbit to play. Let the rabbit several hours (8 to 12 where possible) out of the cage every day. Provide several toys. Create a link to the rabbit.
To keep it healthy, clean the cage every week. Keep the right temperature (between 16 and 22 ° C). Brush the coat. Take it to the veterinarian at least once a year.
